P E T A honoured Linda & Paul in 1996 with a lifetime achievement award
Lynx is a British group whose main objective is to maintain public awareness regarding the cruelty of fur farms and furs in general. Linda and Paul successfully lobbied the US TV game show "Wheel Of Fortune" to stop giving away furs as prizes.
After hearing about the starving children in Bosnia Linda shipped tons of her Veggie food over to feed them.
In 1997 Linda paid £15,000 sterling to save `127 beagles that were being to sold to a lab where they would be subjected to horrible poisoning tests. Linda & Paul managed to buy 50 of the dogs their total freedom.
Linda & Paul also strongly campaigned against General Motors using animals in crash tests
